German and french have as many first language speakers, but french is a major second language. especially in parts of the world that don't speak english as the primary second language like english is in india.. Maybe you should learn german, if you are not going to work somewhere where spanish is needed then why learn it. plus, if you know german you can visit germany, austria, switzerland, & lichtenstein.. I think you should choose the one that will benefit you the most. if you want to go travelling in latin america, learn spanish. if you want a language for business, german is good but so is spanish..
